However, due to the increase of noobies, I have created a Noobie Package you can download (see Download section above), containing the recommended apps already set into the INSTALL folder. I have included the apps assigned by the default installation to work right away, without any need to configure them.

Read up on it a little bit. I also kinda got the whole mass amounts of people to do FMCB cards for free on a certain torrent site. You do it like live music BnP trading. If you're not familiar with it here goes: You get an envelope and address it to yourself with postage for the return, then you get another envelope with the address of the person who is doing it for you, you put the return envelope in the outgoing envelope along with the memory card, and then you ship that bitch out. In a few days you'll get your envelope back with an exploited memory card.
It ends up costing you less than a dollar and you get an amazing ps2 out of it. After that you can then 'pay-it-forward' and do the same for others or make more for yourself just incase. You'll be able to boot games via SMB network shares, burned DVDs, HDD, USB, load any ELF homebrew, and even have whatever ELFs you want on your memory card to boot (can also boot ELF from USB and I believe network shares). Its nice having a ps2 memory card with some fun games to play no matter what. Include a USB drive and you are set for playing at a friends house. Loading ps2 games that way sucks, but for emulators it is just fine. You can also boot ps1 games using FMCB, but you need the ps1 ELF. You will also need a way of making your ps2 open the lid w/o thinking it is open.
It is much easier to do with a slim ps2, but it can be done with a fatty. Honestly, the slims are the best ps2s to have IMO. Sure, you can't install a HDD w/o doing a somewhat involved mod, but playing games via ethernet works a charm. I've never had issues doing so and it sure as fuck beats USB. I'd put playing games via network around disc speed. It doesn't seem slow to me and iirc you can even save your games over the network if you want.If you want a FMCB mem card shoot me a PM. I'd be more than happy to exploit your memory card for you.
If you already have a way to boot ELFs then youre able to make your own FMCB card. I'd also be more than happy to tell you how to exploit your own card or show you a guide. I ended up transferring an ISO of elflauncher to my HDD and then loading the FMCB installer. It is soooo much better than the independence exploit and esp so for me since my ps2 has a basically broken disc drive. Sometimes it would take 3-4 boots to get it to load. I'm assuming you've looked up and already know that with that game the problem area is mostly just in the Ultimate Match mode. My general rule of thumb is HDLoader - ToxicOS (there's actually a.elf version that works to a point, so you don't actually need a chip, message me if you need it) - praying that you can find a patch specifically for that game (best of luck on that last one.
That stuff's impossible)If you happen to find an HDD manager that can resolve many of the known issues with HDLoader, I'd love to knowEDIT: After rereading what this reddit post was actually about, I'll just inform you that the common problem I mentioned at the beginning of this comment is for HDLoader, the vast majority of HDLoader compatibility issues can be located here:.
