Click to expand.I believe exploit games aren't patched, the firmware is patched to block these exploits. So yes these exploit games are still up on psn, just use a ps3 to buy/download, then transfer to vita.There is a webkit exploit for the vita side of things that only works on lower vita firmware (I think it only works on 3.18 and below). So if you want access to that, I wouldn't update. That's if anyone is actually working on this exploit still.
Kinda like the Wii U exploit.it's been discovered but I'm not sure anyone is actually doing anything with it.at least publicly.Also I should make sure you know that these exploits are only used for the psp side of the vita. Just to allow you to play psp homebrew, emulators, and ISOs on your vita.But anyways, I just checked psn and patapon 2 is still up. So it's up to you what you want to do. Personally I have vitas on lower firmware then I have 1 that I keep updated so my options are open incase native vita hacks do get developed.Oh and TheZett has made charts showing which exploit games work on what firmware. You could try his site zload.net (has been down for the last few weeks), or you could check out his twitter for the charts.
