We just purchased this home in september when I met my nieghbor two doors down and he stated he is the one that installed it back in the 70's he said it replaced an oil burning furnace that was here. My 2 cents from here in West Chester, PA. I still have the top green / brown sided Moncrief oil fired hot air unit. The house was built in 1953.
I replaced the oem burner with a Beckett and 1.0gph X 70 nozzle. I still use a Sid Harvey stack switch and a mercury fan / limit. It's built like a brick sheethouse and the only problem I've had was the blower motor on the A-10 AH.
